Fortunately , there are a number of cockroach-killing formulas that you can make yourself at home that will help put  an end to these pesky pests. We’ll show you a few interesting options you can use to kill roaches before they become a serious problem.

Boric acid against cockroaches

This  natural poison is made with boric acid, powdered sugar and a little milk. Cockroaches find the powdered sugar irresistible. That is why they are attracted. The boric acid in the mixture then kills them before they can reproduce any further.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon boric acid
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of milk

Clues

  • Mix the boric acid and icing sugar in a glass jar.
  • Then add the milk and stir until a thick paste forms.
  • Make pea-sized balls of the paste and place them in places where the cockroaches frequent.
  • Don’t forget to put a few outside as well so they don’t come in.
  • Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Another way to take advantage of boric acid’s ability to kill cockroaches is to combine it with egg and powdered sugar. It works in the same way as the previous remedy:  it kills the cockroaches quickly before they can multiply.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of boric acid
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 eggs

Clues

  • Boil the eggs until hard, about 12 minutes.
  • Peel them and remove the yolks from the whites. You only need the yolks for this.
  • Mash them and mix them with the boric acid and sugar.
  • Make sure the sugar is completely dissolved and a thick paste is formed.
  • Then make small balls and spread them around the house.
  • The poison is not dangerous to touch, but you should keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Boric Acid, Baking Soda and Cornstarch

By combining boric acid, baking soda and cornstarch with a number of other ingredients, you  can create a product that will wreak havoc on cockroaches. The sugar attracts them, while the other ingredients will kill them.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons boric acid
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons plaster
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour

Clues

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl and make into pills.
  • Place them in corners and other places where the roaches frequent.

Poison against cockroaches with borax

Borax

Borax is often used to make products such as soap and other cleaning products. In its natural state  , it will kill the cockroaches by attacking them from within.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup borax

Clues

  • Put on a pair of plastic gloves and then spread the powder in corners and other places where roaches frequent.
  • Only use this product in areas where pets and children cannot reach.

For best results  , keep the house clean, including around the house. Clean it every day and don’t leave dishes or food scraps on the counter.
