  • To make this sage syrup you will need sage leaves and lemon. You can find the sage in herbal or health food stores. It is always best to buy natural sage, which is sold in small sachets for infusions.
  • Drink the sage syrup four days in a row and twice a month. During those days, you should follow a low-fat diet, with plenty of salads and fiber. Try not to eat meat, sweets or composite foods. Remember: only four days. And be careful what you eat: only fruits, vegetables, fiber and sage syrup.
  • Drink the sage syrup three times a day,  before breakfast and before your two main meals.
  • It is best to make the syrup fresh for each cup. This means that you should always drink it when it is freshly made. To do this, take six sage leaves and add them to a glass of boiling water. Bring it to a boil and then let it cool for five minutes.
  • Then add the juice of half a lemon.
  • Mix the sage infusion well with the lemon juice.
  • Finally, add two tablespoons of honey.

Some more tips

  • Drink it when it is warm. Take a whole glass as soon as you wake up. Eat an apple and a slice of whole-wheat toast for breakfast.
  • Make another sage syrup before your main meal. You can also make a spinach salad with walnuts and beets. This will give you a lot of nutrients and proteins and will also aid your digestion.
  • Do the same for dinner. Make the syrup and drink it ten minutes before dinner. Then eat, for example, a fried eggplant and a papaya for dessert. Both are cleansing, low in fat and have sufficient vitamins. Sage will also help you rest better. If you get hungry between meals, eat a piece of fruit, such as an apple.
  • Remember, this is a restrictive diet that you only have to follow for four days and twice a month. Little by little you will see that your belly starts to get stronger and flatter.
